Eyelash curlers are dangerous!

I don’t generally use them, but was sick of my lashes bumping into my sunglasses all the time.  This morning the plastic/rubber portion of the curler that does the actual clamping shattered to pieces while I was using it.  Scared me quite a bit.  Thankfully, there was no actual eye damage.  It did however cut my eyelashes off.  I didn’t even notice until I put mascara on.  Lashes on the both sides but gone in the middle.  At lease I don’t have to worry about them bumping into my sunglasses anymore.  I wonder how long it takes for eyelashes to grow? 

 

Freddie has the sniffles.  I’ve been using the bulb sucker thingy on her several times a day.  She seems used to it now and barely fights it.  My mom says babies get yucky noses when they’re teething.  I hope that’s it and she doesn’t have a cold.  She doesn’t seem to be upset or anything.  She’s still generally a happy baby.   She did fuss a little more than normal this weekend, but not too much.

Freddie and me at work

I’m getting better at posting pictures more often.  I just put a few on today of Freddie in her pack ‘n play and in our bed snuggling with Daddy.  Guinness normally spends a few extra minutes with Freddie on the days I bring her with me.  These are from yesterday though and she stayed home with him all day.

Guinness has been working more on plans for our trip to Disney World.  He put the plans together and then had them made into books for everyone going.  It’s super cool!  I can’t wait.

Nothing much new to report.  Life is good.  Baby is wonderful.  Guinness and I are enjoying being parents.  Freddie’s having fun too!

Oh…I do have news…My cousin Suzanne is pregnant with her first!  I’m so excited…her baby is due right around Freddie’s first birthday. 

I can’t beleive Freddie’s already 20 weeks old.  Still, I can’t remember life without her either. 

Check out the pictures we’ve put up.  Guinness took a few of her sitting by herself for the first time.  There’s also a bunch of her holding onto the sofa and standing…she’s been doing that for a while now.  She has very strong little legs.  Pretty good pictures for an iphone camera.  He loves that thing.

I’m going to try to post pics more frequently.  I’m not taking as many since Freddie’s only with me in the office on Tuesdays and Fridays now.  Man I miss her the rest of the week.  Today is Wednesday.  I miss her.  Still, I get MUCH more done at work on the days she stays with her Daddy.  I’m stealing a few minutes right now to write this…I’ll take a shorter lunch.

Heather and Joel let us know they’ll be coming for a visit Thanksgiving through New Years.  Guinness, baby, and I will be in Disney World for a great portion of their time here but I’m sure we’ll get to see them a bit before they’re off again….not really clear on where they’re headed next.  Maybe they’ve said on their blog.

Guinness is super excited about our swiftly approaching trip to Disney World.  He rarely talks of anything else.  He’s so cute.  We’ll be staying almost a month.  It’s going to be really tough to take the time off work, but Dad is letting me go (with the understanding I don’t make it a habit).  I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before, but we’ve joined the Disney Vacation Club!  Guinness is a happy boy.

I’d best get back to work.  Looks like I had a bit to report after all.
