Congratulations!
Last weekend Guinness, Freddie, and I went to Jenner. It was really nice to get away, even if only for a couple days. Freddie had tons of fun running through the house exploring. Freddie also had her first Oreo cookie. I slpit it in half giving her the side without the cream. She LOVED IT. She’s just like her Daddy….see:

She’s so perfect!

We had a fantastic time in San Diego though it was a very short trip. I barely got to see my Endermann relatives at all. We stayed with Heather and Joel at their “dream shack on the beach” and had a great time. Their, tiny but great location, apartment is a very short walk from the bay and a short walk more to Mission Beach.
Freddie LOVED the beach. It was lots of fun to watch her learn about sand.

The baby shower was lovely and Freddie got to wear her birthday party dress again. Here is a picture of Freddie in attack mode. She’s so much fun.

Freddie’s party was lots of fun. She was so cute in her party dress.

She had a check up just days before the party and the doc said it was fine to giver her cake. Freddie was afraid to touch it at first…thought she’d get in trouble. I took her dress off her and let her attack a piece of cake…really good cake from Rick’s. She loved it!
Freddie got lots of toys and clothes from everyone and has been having a ton of fun with them.
She’s a bit cranky lately though because she’s cutting teeth yet again. About a week after her birthday she got her first molar! A bit early I think. I’m still trying to get her used to tooth brushing. She’s resisting. The doc also said Guinness and I have to stop giving her bottles. This is extremely difficult. She doesn’t like sippy cups yet. Doc also said to switch her to milk instead of formula. She’s been drinking the next-step formula. Doc thinks it’s a waste of money. Freddie hates the milk though. Not sure how we’re going to make the switch.
Freddie and I are going to San Diego this weekend to visit my cousin Suzie and her new baby Georgia. The baby came early so they moved the shower back to this Sunday. T-Bone (my brother) is hopefully coming along as well. I’ll get to stop by and see my Sister Heather and her husband Joel as well. They recently moved to the San Diego area after their trip to Korea. Not sure where they’re off to next, but I’m sure they’ll be on the move again soon. They don’t like to stick around one place too long.
It’s going to be a busy, but fun, weekend!
