HEATHER–This blogging thing is kind of new to us, so we didn’t really get around to posting anything during our little hiatus in California. It’s strange to be typing this in my parent’s living room in Lodi, considering where I was the last time I sat in front of this empty rectangle. I miss Paris.

It was nice being back, though. We saw all the local family members and a handful of friends (we wish we could have seen all of you–it went by so fast!). We satisfied our need for Mexican food, spent some time at the cabin, and hooked up our next adventure: Korea!

Tomorrow afternoon we’ll fly to our new home in Ulsan, South Korea, where we’ll be teaching conversational English to Korean children in exchange for a decent little salary and a free two-bedroom apartment. We’re excited and a tiny bit nervous, but we’ve done our research, and we expect it to be wonderful. We’ll let you know if we’re right!

That’s it for now. We’re about to watch our last episode of Conan O’Brien for a year. Hope it’s not a rerun.

On to Korea!
